Wow, that's sick. I can't imagine paying 500 for a phone (iphone or android) never mind 7,900 euros for one.

    Too rich for my blood.

Vertu have always been known for making super expensive stuff that is way behind in keeping pace with anyone.

It's basically a 'look how much money I have' phone.

Your spoilt in the states with your $199 iPhone contract deals.

    Even a 64gb iPhone 5 will cost up-to €500 ($672) on a 24 month contract here...

    I've just paid €650 ($873) for an unlocked 16gb Xperia Z....

    My 64Gb iPhone 5 unlocked was €899 ($1208).................

    I see you're point :(

I forgot how the cost structure is so different in Europe.

Virgin and T-Mobile and trying to change that by charging full price for an iPhone here and then have a reduced monthly plan but so far for Virgin that's been a bust (may be other factors for them) and T-Mo hasn't rolled that out - they're just talking about it.

Good grief people, there's no such thing as an Android phone. Android is the kernel, NOT the phone.
