Of all the reasons not to eat at Taco Bell, the recent e. coli incident should not really be a factor :D . Seriously though, I just ate there tonight, and my chicken quesadilla was very good.

i eat there a lot now, more than ever. i used to just eat their nachos, but now its the crunchwrap supreme....mmmm....ahhh....sooo good.....and no green onions or spinach!:D

The carmel apple thing are amazingly good. What are they called again, empsomething?

Those bastards stopped serving the cheesy gordita crunch. It used to not be on the menu but they would still make it for you. I don't think anything else at TB is good, and the e.coli definitely doesn't help. Probably won't go there until they bring back the cheesy gordita crunch.
Oh, that sucks. That was my favorite. I rather like their new Chicken enchilada stuffed burrito, though. Much better than I had initially expected.
I eat at Taco Bell roughly once every other month. Thankfully there really isn't one close to where I live or I would probably eat there more often.

Cheesy Gordita Crunch is yummy. They brought it back in November I think for 3 weeks or so and I never got a chance to get it again. This was in Anchorage, AK. I never get it while I'm in AK because the prices are way too high. 1.19 for a Soft Taco 1.09 for a Crunchy is the cheapest menu item. They don't even have white meat chicken up here or in Hawaii

I'll always like the .99 Double Decker tacos when I'm back in California

I used to eat there all the time, the I realised that it was really bad for me and it made me fell like crap after. Haven't had it since. The Grilled Stuft Burrito was realy good though. I go to Moe's for my taco needs now.

Is it true that all the sauces at Taco Bell comes in bags in a dehydrated state and they just add hot water too them to make them?

If so, yuck :(

dinner last night (in order of consumption):

one ranchero chicken soft taco.

one soft taco supreme with two hot sauces.

one grilled steak soft taco, extra lime sauce

one soft taco supreme with [count em], two fire sauces.

mmMmmMmmmm.

in all fairness tho, i didn't eat taco bell for a real long time.

I've personally found Taco Bell to be the most wretched of all the major fast food chains, so no worries for me. However, a fellow worker got E. Coli (he was out of work for about 3 weeks) and they think it was from Taco Bell. Fun.

It's alright, but I don't think I've eaten at Taco Bell for....I dunno, ages. Maybe a year. But there's a chain of similar resteraunts here in the Midwest called Taco Bueno, and for Mexican fast food, it's pretty good.:)

Sounds like my old diet, circa 14 years ago! I'd run for the border at least twice a week. Two taco supremes, either two bean burritos with extra sauce or a burrito supreme, and a large Dr Pepper. Then I quit all fast food and soda about six years ago (except for the very occasional visit to In-n-Out Burger or Togo's). Lo and behold, I lost 20 pounds and feel a lot better.

I think my last Taco Bell visit was two years ago. I'm in no hurry to go back -- the local tacqueries have got me too spoiled by now.

I ate there for the first, and last time, about ten years ago. It ranks as one of the worst decisions I've ever made. Thanks, but no thanks. But, if you like it, knock yourself out.

Worst fast-food restauarant I ever heard about, ever: A place called "Kenny Rogers Roasters". Ever see one of these? The gimmick was supposed to be "genuine wood-fire roasted chicken", with Kenny's face staring out at you from the sign. There was one in Waltham, MA, right across from the Police and Fire Department HQ. Logically, it should have been a big hit, with that location on a busy thoroughfare, but no. In the eighteen months it was open, it was shut down numerous times, mostly for health code violations. "Poor employee hygenic practices" was a common one, along with chicken that was not properly cooked being served to customers. Lovely. Kenny Rogers Roasters still has an active web site, but apparently only two of the restaurants are left in the U.S.

Oddly enough, several restaurants have come and gone at that location, and none of them have really been a hit.

I will plead "guilty" to eating at McDonald's on occasion. Their Big Breakfast works for me, as I'm usually quite hungry in the morning. Fast food is part of American life, like it or not.

I've been to Taco Bell twice since the whole evil e-coli scare. I actually ate Taco Bell on the same day CNN plastered a "more people get sick from Taco Bell" headline on their page. I was reading the article as I consumed a Crunch Wrap Supreme. To quote George Carlin: "Take a *****n' chance!" :D

And Nacho Cheese Steak Chalupas (when they used to have them) =

There are so many authentic mexican burrito stands where I live that I don't even bother anymore. They're only about a $1 or so more and 10x fresher- they all have open kitchens.
