Ahhh dmmcintyre3's thread of the day.

I have one but I rarely use it.

I still use my imac G3 for mundane tasks. I've moved to my thinkpad for everything else since the new macbook keyboards are not to my liking.

On the road my trusty 12"PB is my main machine. I also use it for recording lectures, F@H, and occasional games that ran nicely under Tiger :D

I use a dual 1.8GHz PowerMac G5 at work. I have an identical system at work that I use for testing stuff on. At home I have an old G3 that I use for, well, nothing really just for kicks. Besides that I have a Macbook Air, Macbook Pro, and 2009 Mac Mini. The PPC stuff runs quite fine, but the Intel stuff runs better :)

I was using a Powerbook frequently (mostly for text stuff) up until Dec last year. I gave it to my dad but I still use it from time to time.

Almost daily, I use these:
  • PB15 (PPC)
  • PM933 (PPC)
  • MBP15 (Intel)
  • iMac (Intel)
  • Homebuilt PC (Athlon)

Out of these, my primary is the MBP15.

I have a G4 cube that I use occasionally but as time goes on, I find it more difficult to have it sit there and eat up desk space. I'm tempted to sell it or put it away in my closet.

I loved the cube design and it was my first "power mac" (had an iMac an SE before that) but now its more of a dust collector :(

Last generation iBook G4 here. That's my main computer, but I'm trying to get a 13" MPB this summer.

I also have two iMac G3s for fun, but I'm going to be shooting one up shortly. :D

I still use my 17" PB G4 on a regular basis, though I have to say the C2D Mini has taken over as the main machine. The PB is the living room computer. I use it when I get bored or have an ADD attack while watching TV.

PowerMac G5 Quad 2.5GHz as my machine in the home office/studio.

A brand new (3 months) Macbook Pro 17" for working when I am not in the office... I am untilizing both machine equally.

I second the opinion that the survey doesn't have enough choices...

Even though I have a Pro now, my wife and kids use a networked iMac G5, and next to my Pro is my iMac G4 where I use all my legacy programs from before OS X.

Dual 2.3 GHz G5 PowerMac , 4.5 Gb RAM
Aluminium 15" PowerBook 1 GHz G4, 2 Gb RAM

Desktop still generally fine. Laptop struggling.

PowerMac Dual 2.5 G5 web server in my lab.
iBook G4 1.14 in the lab for students to use.
Kids each have iMac G4 1.0
uMBP Intel as my portable computer.

I have a iMac G4 in the kitchen that I use with Slingplayer to watch TV and surf the net some. Best looking TV ever.
