We have an dual USB iBook G3 in the bedroom attached to a set of powered speakers for tunes and occasional web browsing. I just sleeps all the time till awakened. Not alot of room for tunes, but it gets us dressed in the AM.

i just got my unibody macbook pro last week, but up until then i used my 12' powerbook g4 as my main machine...ill still use my powerbook on a daily basis because it is just so portable but my new intel monster is in charge from now on :D

In my house we have:

a PowerMac G4 Cube
an old TiBook (don't know the exact specs; it's my dad's)
a G4 Mac Mini
2 G3 "Gumdrop" iMacs (one has a slot loading CD drive, the other has a pop-out)
2 old iBooks (clamshell versions) one grey and one aqua

We all use those as secondary machines

My dad uses a white Intel iMac
I use the comp in my signature
My younger sister uses an Intel Mac Mini
My mom uses her work laptop usually, but she has a Blackbook as well

Your survey needs more options.

For example, how about those of us who use both on a daily basis?

+1, although I have stopped using the powerbooks wirelessly to the net because I couldn't get them to connect to a newer router with WPA2 as my network's encyryption option. But I still do use a 12" and a 15" powerbook most days for one thing or another, even though my main books are an MBA and a blackjack now. I keep all my classical music in a separate itunes library a 12" book, and a lot of movies on the 15".

Anyway I didn't vote on the poll 'cause my usage doesn't fit any slot!

I've got two PPC Macs at the moment (G4 iBook and G5 PowerMac). My new Intel iMac will arrive next week some time, so my G5 will be moving to my parents house to replace their G3/300 desktop. I'll be holding on to my iBook for a while since it's handy for watching videos, streaming music and it's what I use to run my model railroad.

I use the eMac in my sig for my main machine. It runs Leopard very well, considering it only has 512 MB of RAM. I expect it to continue to be a great machine for the next two or three years.

Workgroup Server 9150. I don't use it regularly - maybe a couple of times a month.

PowerBook G4 1.33GHz used most frequently, so I suppose it's my Main. :)

I love my PowerBook! MBPs are for the weak!

I selected "Yes it is my main computer" but an option labeled "100% PowerPC" would have been more accurate.

Main computer: 500 MHz G4 Cube (No, I'm not kidding)
On the road: 800 MHz TiBook
Music/Video management: 2 GHz iMac G5

Im still using Powermac G5 dual 2.5ghz, handles cinema 4D rendering and Vectorworks better than my Early 2008 Macbook Pro. Although my macbook pro can handle other things better, like video work. Pretty happy working from both.

I do my powerbook G4 gets used in the morning whilst eating breakfast, toast and a cup of tea while checking the macrumors / news

It's a PB G4 867MHZ, 1.25GB and 120 GB hdd

The iBook G4 in my signature line is my wife's main computer. We have an Intel iMac, but it's in the office and obviously is not portable.

I still use my Tibook from time to time, ran a software update check yesterday on it in fact. I noticed that the LED in the centre of the monitor is not working which is a pain as it's a good confirmation that the machine is starting up. Other than the LED it still runs amazingly well! :)

I have 3 computers.

1. Primary, iMac Intel (running Leopard)
2. Secondary, iMac PowerPC (running Tiger, used for Classic)
3. Tertiary, PowerSpec PC (running Ubuntu 8.04 LTS, but it's got hardware problems and isn't used much)
