Question in the title... I use a case and had a Power Support Anti-Glare protector before taking it off today to see how the screen looks sans protector. Realized how much better the screen looks without the Anti-Glare protector, but loved everything about the protector other than the dulling of the retina display. Thinking of leaving the screen without a protector or at most a crystal protector from Power Support. Just curious as to how you guys have your phone set up.

I use a screen protector no matter what. I used an antiglare for the last week, and while I like not having to clean the screen, I hated what it did to the retina display.

When I'm at work I use a full case, but on weekends I'll usually go naked, or slap on a bumper.

I have a bumper from SGP (SGP Linear EX color) and a screen protector in front and back (crystal)

I had the iPhone 4 and i didnt use a screen protector, I definitely got scratches. Mostly hairline scratches. So now, I always use a screen protector.

No way I don't use a screen protector. Power Support screen saver with a Seidio Active case on the 4. Looks brand new because of it.

My husband lost big trade-in money for the scratches on the back of his 3G that came after grit got inside his old case. He put a screen saver on the back and the front of his new 4S, before putting on a Otterbox case because of the cut-out on the case's back.

My sentiments exactly about the antiglare... Definitely see more smudges without the antiglare but the added screen clarity is very much worth it. Gonna look into a Power Support crystal set.

made a mistake of listening to few people here and went without screen protectors on 4s. Now it has about 6-8 hairline scratches which i find annoying. What I did was order new SGP Glas.T screen protector and going to apply it. According to reviews its basically like having original glass screen. Should get it next week but reviews are positive. Price is a bit high though

I've got a Power Support anti-glare on the front and a Lucky Labs carbon fiber on the back. The PS definitely does dull the retina display, but not by too much and I've gotten used to it. Plus I like not having to wipe off fingerprints every time I use my phone. I stick with bumpers as I think they're sleeker and they add less bulk than most cases. I definitely baby my phone and haven't dropped it (knock on wood!), so scratch protection is all I need at the moment.

I guess for smaller display screens like on an iPhone, I would go with a crystal clear screen protector simply because it's so small I can move it around to avoid any glare. Like on a 13" macbook pro, I would definitely go for a matt screen protector because I know the laptop is gonna 'stay put' and it's not as convenient to move around avoiding glare like on a cellphone. If you know what I mean.

That bein said, yeah I do use a power support crystal clear screen protector on my iPhone 4S.
