Who uses VM Parallels & bootcamp & Why?

    Does anyone use both products?
    And how about Win7? Curious about advantages/disadvantages

    The advantage of using a VM (parallels VMWare) is that you can use Windows and OSX at the same time as each has their uses. BC requires you to shut down one and start back up in the other.

    The Advantage of using BootCamp is that you get full access to the processor and RAM while using Windows. When using a VM the resources are split between OSX and Windows.

    That is going to be the biggest difference so it really depends on what you plan on using Windows for. I would not use both as it would require 2 installations of Windows which is expensive and takes up a lot of HD space.
