XP Pro and Win2k at work.

Linux on my ancient Dell laptop (primarily a web surfing/kid's gaming device for my 5 y.o. daughter). XP is on there too, but it's too frustrating for her to use. She keeps asking for her own Mac...

XP Pro is loaded on both Macs (using Fusion). My wife has a Viking sewing machine that uses Microsoft Paint for the DIY embroidery program. I'm still hesitant to shell out the cash and deal with possible conversion issues for Mac versions of Dramatica Pro and a handful of DVD backup tools (I did switch to Age of Empires for Mac though...:D). I'm also using our old PC with XP as a media server.

Leopard is on both Macs and is by far the most used and most useful.

In order of frequency (most-least):

1. 10.3.9
2. 10.5.3
3. XP Home SP3

In order of most used all-time:

1: XP Home
2: 10.3
3: 10.4
4: Windows ME and earlier
5: 10.5

To craete a thread with a poll you have to create the thread first then add the poll so there is always a little bit when there is no poll attached to the thread. The OP is creating the poll as I type.
Roger that. Never created a poll, so I did not realize there was a delay.

Let's be poll - ite and wait. :D
Good point.

I forgot, If you want, do tell us why you use that operating system.
Completed your poll.

Looks like I use all but the 64 bit versions of XP and Vista.

I use OSX (of course). I installed XP Pro with SP2 initially and then installed Vista Business 64 with SP1 which I use for AutoCAD and games. I use XP Pro for Microsoft Money and Quickbooks Pro. I will migrate these to Vista when I get the time.

Win 7 for games, OS X 10.9 for my photography business and other general computing, and WHS for the home server. I'll probably use Linux on the next one I build though as it won't be a pre-built box and I'll have a bunch of different OSes to support.

Do you realize that this thread is 6 years old?

Oh well.

I'm already eyeing Ubuntu server for my next server build. I have something like 7TB of capacity in my WHS box and I'm outgrowing it. I'm going to need something that will serve my entire house as a file server/media server/whatever server (home automation anyone) so I'm looking at a 20-24 bay hotswappable box that I could set up a RAID 5 or 10 array in. 60-72 TB should do for now. :D
