I've been using my 12 mini with no case and I love how it feels and the fact I can appreciate the phones size. I'm planning to get a 13 pro, but I'm now thinking about whether I will go caseless.

I always run AppleCare+ in the event I drop it and case damage.

Who is planning to go caseless?

Well, I went caseless with my 3GS, 4S, 6, and 6S Plus, but then started using cases with my X, SE2, and now 12 Pro. With MagSafe, I feel better using an Apple leather Magafe case, because I can see that MagSafe puck scuffing up the back. My 12 Pro also slid off a seat onto asphalt and put a gouge in the leather case - I was thankful for it then! I also dropped my X flat on its face once and the raised edges of the case saved the screen.

I don’t have many drops with my iPhones and I’m not particularly accident prone, but anytime I go careless, there always seems to be an incident where I regret it.

I want to buy a colorful iPhone Mini (either red or pink), but I think I’d only get something as colorful as the red if I went caseless always. I’m almost considering just getting black since I’m planning on almost always using it in a case and it matches the widest variety of cases. I’m so sick of owning black iPhones though, so I don’t know.

Been caseless for the 7, X, 11pro and I think I had one screen repair over that stretch. I started buying apple care when I learned how much the back glass costs to replace. I don’t stress over it, but I’m pretty careful with my phones (they get their own pocket, for example). I love iPhones without the added bulk of a case, and feel like cases often trap dirt and do more damage to the finish than going without.

I love the extra grip and the idea of not having a ton of micro scratches on the screen. I'd hate looking at them. Plus I use disinfectant wipes like a crazy person so I'd rather all the cleaner go on a case rather than the phone.

I want to but I’m nervous Ill drop and break it. So much nicer feeling without the case (at least for the 12 PM)

Going caseless since my 12 Pro, but this time I am getting the SlickWraps Naked Series(Transparent full body wrap) to protect from scratches and scuff marks on my Sierra Blue Pro Max.

If I was getting one, definitely. But I think I am basing my hypothetical decision on my past wonderful experience with the original iPhone SE. I dropped it numerous times and never a crack or big nick. Of course, that is when phones were made properly, no glass backs and they were sturdy. That was a classic.
