Who will switch to Android if no jailbrake comes up with the next ios 10 or in the next 6 to 12 months?
The iphone is getting really boring without the possibility to jailbreak for so long. And we still don't know if it will ever be possible to jailbreak it in the future.

There was a jb not too long ago, the jb game used to take even more time than nowadays so this is a non-issue IMO.

So the answer is prob only a few like always.

I've tried to switch to Android multiple times in the last three years but just can't do it.

A jailbreak will come. It always does. I agree stock is pretty stale, but even when I root and install custom kernels on my android, I still don't feel as comfortable with the phone as I do using iOS. Expect the jailbreak by November December this year (assuming a September release for iOS 10)

Why would I do that? I'm jailbroken on 9.0.2…

However, should the day ever come where iOS is no longer for me, jailbroken or otherwise, it won't be Android I'm going to.

I came to iOS/iPhone from Windows Mobile. And to there I shall return if ever that day comes. I have a DEEP dislike for Android.

But suppose a jailbreak doesn't come in December and it is July 2017 and nothing yet. Will you keep waiting for ios 11 saying a future jailbreak will come some day or will you simply buy an Android or another rootable phone?

Same doom and gloom when iOS 7 was released.
Same doom and gloom when iOS 8 was released.
Same doom and gloom when iOS 9 was released.

All of which had jailbreaks. And iOS 7 was supposedly THE hill jailbreaking was going to die on.

There will be jailbreak. It's only WHEN that is the question.

m8, is there any chance to have a JB for 9.3.2 in the near future?
Thanks.
If I had it in my power to give, it would have long since arrived! :D

Alas, I am no developer and I know nothing about anything when it comes to exploits or release dates. I am simply a user like anyone else here.

But based on past history…

Even iOS 6.1.3 to 6.1.6 received a jailbreak eventually. And 8.4.1 has one too if you want to to stretch it and call Yalu a valid jailbreak.

There are still people using iOS 7 because they like their setup...... It's 2 years old. Based on that, us die hards can go a few years easily on iOS 9. If history repeats itself, a JB will drop eventually, and we'll all scramble for it. Then we'll wait again.

…and all the "Jailbreaking is dead" people will disappear from this part of the forum again when that happens.
