All iPads Whoa! Procreate Dreams Animation Software Announced

Procreate announced a new 2D animation app called Procreate Dreams. It is a one-time $19.99 purchase and honestly to me, it looks quite amazing. Some creators have been using a beta copy, and I’ve linked their animations below. Release is currently scheduled for November. Check out these videos!

What are your thoughts? Personally I can’t wait to give this a go.

That's cool! But... I'm not really interested in animation...

I do respect people who make animations, greatly, but for me in order to make anything of substance in animating, you would need to draw 10-20 different detailed art pieces with how different some frames can be... it's extremely exhausting.

It looks insane. The fact that they crammed all that into an iOS app is mind blowing (I mean iOS is way more powerful than most people realize but it's amazing to see someone take full advantage).

They’re going to make a killing with this app. I can’t believe they’re not doing a subscription model. I love that about them!

Wow! Love it, not really big into doing animation. But I find it super interesting and will buy simply because they don't follow a subscription by one-time-payment approach. Needs to be supported!
