Who'd Use Handwriting Recognition?

I've just been searching handwriting recognition apps.

A lot of posted replies seem to suggest typing is quicker than HWR. Is this right?

On a full size Qwerty keyboard I can imagine typing to be quicker, but with a mini size iPhone keyboard, surely a HWR app couldn't be that slow!

I'm a 2 finger typist and there is no way I could type quicker than I can write, so am I just a dinosaur or are the HWR software extremely slow?

I'm interested in getting WritePad!

I wouldn't use it on an iPhone....but on iPad maybe.

It's not really all that great without a stylus. Otherwise your just finger painting
