Mine updated fine as well but took way too long.

But I think activity tracking in broken with this update. Anyone noticed anything with their activity?

Some sleeping hours are counted as "stand" hours after the update. My count for Monday is 20, and 22 for Tuesday this week. I don't think I had this problem before the update or ever.

Successful update here as well on a Series 0 to Watch OS 3.1.1. Battery life seems a bit crippled though...oddly enough I am seeing higher caloric measurements throughout the day, which would explain the hit on battery life.

Like is my heart beating faster or is my watch now taking more frequent and consistent measurements?

I also noticed that the move calories is pretty generous, so is the exercise minutes.

I Crossfit 6/7 days a week and run a few times aweek and its never been this generous. Its almost 3pm here and I have been up since 530 and just been doing little things around the house and then working and studying and its almost at 20minutes exercise and 260 calories

I thought the more you moved and exercised the smarter the watch got, its almost like the update erased all that???? Hard to explain

Updated fine here, took forever (well over an hour). I was tempted to "see" what was going on, but just left it until it really was done and the watch face returned.

I had trouble on my series 1 watch (kept getting an error message saying I wasn't connected to the internet.) So after a few frustrating tries, I found a thread that said what @profets said above: the 3.1.1 update has been pulled.

Well the red circle update badge is still there though -- TAUNTING ME!!! FOR THE SAKE OF MY OCD, PULL THAT TOO, PLEASE, APPLE!!!

My wife and I both got new s2 on Monday. We both upgraded to 3.1.1 around 5pm on Monday (Pacific Time).
No problems for either of us.

Updated Space Grey Series 2 from 3.1 to 3.1.1. I think it took about 45 minutes all up. I did it about 7:00AM Melbourne time and had already been for a run using Runkeeper to track the run prior to this, but my iphone had already been updated to 10.2. I wonder if the iOS version on your phone had any bearing on if you got bricked or not. This was before there was any news of a problem, which I read about later in the day.

I heard that some people took their watches back and got refunds (even if they were outside the return window). I have a feeling if mine had bricked that's what I would have done.

That's good to hear. Nothing worse than buying to brand new Series 2 Watches and having them brick the day you bought them.

42mm SSB S0, and a 38mm SS S0, both updated fine. And my last 38mm SS S0 still at 3.1 due to Apple pulled the 3.1.1.
