Should be here Friday!

I have been without an iPod for a couple of weeks. My 'fatty' couldn't handle my sweat. I should've bought some sort of band for it. 😱
 
No new touch for me, at least until there is a 64gb. I will gladly hand over $500 for a 64gb, but for now, my 16gb 1st gen serves me fine (or at least well enough for the time being, seeing as I have 700mb free now).
 
Heck yes! I have this OSD thing, I have to have the NEWEST thing. So, I sold my old 8gb Touch and got me a new 8gb touch. 8gb is plenty for me. So, I got a new one. Its restoring the backup from my old one as I speak.


I have to say, this thing looks SEXY. 😎

Yeah that's the 'YMMV' part 😉 Personally I would never buy a device based on its ability to play video on a tiny screen. Plus the lack of capacity does not really lend itself to being ideal for video. YMMV.
 
Sold my old first generation 8 GB iPod touch on eBay last week.

On Friday, I am rushing at the Montréal Apple Store after school and get that 16 GB beauty !

Can't wait ! Was waiting for the new version to come out. I wanted a camera to be integrated with the new iPod touch, meh...doesn't matter that much, but eh...maybe next year !

So yeah, 16 GB iPod touch and the new speakers with the remote/microphones integrated are going to be mine on Friday !!!
 
I'll be buying one this weekend at the Garden State Plaza store. Right now, i have an 80 gig iPod classic and an 8 gig iPod Touch. The classic i love, and i use it every day. the touch i only got because of the student discount this summer. I rarely use it because i have roughly 20 gigs of music.

I plan on selling both iPods, and making the new iPod touch my exclusive music/video player/pda thingy. The 32 gigs is good for me, and i'm happy about the external speakers (not for actually listening to music but for small tasks here & there) and the microphone possibility.
 
Yup yup! Now with House back on iTunes I have to upgrade to 32GB to watch the shows, the price drop is good enough to make me pick it up now 😀. Time for me to look in my itunes and see how much of my tv shows/movies I can keep. Oh yeah, how much of the 32GB is available for us? 30-29??
 
just placed the order... 32GB.
my old 20GB 3rd gen died on the morning of the release. what timing...
this will be a huge upgrade in terms of tech - iPods have come a long way.
 
Got a 32 gb off apple.com, hasn't shipped yet though :/ probably just because it's being engraved...

I think it's nicer, with the speaker it finally makes it "perfect" the only thing would be GPS for location services, but I really yet to find a use for that whenever I use a friends iPod. But that speaker makes alarms actually hear able besides close to your head and being able to listen to a game without headphones!
 
Bought a 32gb, should be here friday...reallly need a case for it though!!!

And today I sold my old 30gb for $150...😱
 
I love my original iPod touch. Probably one of the one's in the first shipment and I'm proud I got one of those.
 
Happy to hear there are quite a few people who will be picking up a new iPod touch/have already ordered one! I plan on buying a 32GB in the near future, and I'm glad I'm not the only one. For a while, I wasn't sure if the price could be completely justified for what was offered. I was hoping they'd bump up the hard drive space on it (and lower the price, which they've done) somewhere past 32GB, but I'll take it. I need to learn how to manage and organize my library better, anyway. 🙂
 
My dad's getting me one for christmas . its gonna be a 16gb and im gonna get a bodyguardz for it as i don't like the bulky silicone cases.
 
accessories are all the same. earphone is the same. but I guess someday Oct. when you will buy new one, it will come with upgraded earphone which has volume control, mic.

sweet, i hope the include the stand by then cuz they don't ship with them anymore🙁
