Who's buying the new Mac Mini this week?

Late to the party, but I ordered a M4 Pro 24/1024 on the 30th. I await my aluminum puck of computing awesomeness.

Just ordered a 24/1TB M4 Mini and an INNOCN 27M2U-D display to replace a Late 2012 27" iMac.

Are you me? I am using the INNOCN 27M2U-D on my work MBP right now to test it out while waiting for my Mac Mini to arrive to replace my 2017 27" iMac. 😀

How much RAM?

I stuck to the 24GB base RAM. I would have considered upgrading to 32GB if that was an option, but 48GB is an overkill for me and not worth +$400.

And I don't need extra storage, I have 2 NAS devices.

Bought the cheapest one for $500. Gone is the 8gb dilemma.

I figure if I really like it I can upgrade. These will sell.

No, because the people complaining about 8 GB are going to start complaining about 16 GB being the base model. The X GB for the base model posts will never go away.

I picked up a M4+24G+512G today at apple store, runnding so smoothly

I opened over 50PPTs and many Chrome tabs, there is no fan noise at all, it just fell cool, no heat.
