Seriously, who's excited for this app... I am a big RANGER fan... and i always have wanted something like this..

I cant wait for this app. I get to follow the Giants everywhere I go now.

From my understanding, its free as long as you subscribe to their baseball package.

I'm excited! I hope they use data from that new pitch tracking thing they do. PITCHf/x I think. Cool stuff.

I think they said $4.99 during the keynote.

The package I believe he was referring to was mlb.tv. The streaming access to all live games.

I am, kind of. It will be interesting to see if you could tie it with your mlb.tv account, because I am currently paying for one, but not able to use it because FF3 is not supported, and IE6/7 seems to be screwing up a lot.

IIRC it was going to be $5 for the remainder of the season (leading one to believe it will typically be $10 for a season, which is a typical subscription model for MLB). Does anyone know if they may throw GameDay Audio in? Don't care as much about the video, but I LOVE listening to the Cubs on the radio!

BOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
'STROS 4LIFE!!!!!!!
but yeah this is going to be the first thing i get off the app store.

Thank you...

As a huge Astros fan (I root for the rangers too) I cant wait!

...and thank you, for Brad Lidge!

I'm totally excited for it. Of course I'd be more excited if the Padres weren't 20 games under 500:(

I am all too familiar with your pain... I blame Randy Wolf

There was a story a few weeks ago saying it would cost $5.... for sports scores!!! I say wait a week and 10 free apps will be available that do the same thing.
