I get a new phone every 2 years and go caseless the final 6 months or so. Never had a problem (knock on wood). I may go caseless the entire time for the iPhone 16. The Apple wallet definitely helps though.
I've been using phones case-less for years. Only thing on them is a screen protector and a dbrand or other skin on the back.
For me, a naked phone feels great in the hand. Cases are bulky. I'm not one to drop my phone often if ever. When I owned a Pixel 5, I dropped it a few times but the damage wasn't severe enough for me to care. I've broken screens before but it gets fixed.
The benefit (to me) of using a phone case-less far outweighs whatever imperfections it may incur while I'm using it.
I’m going semi-caseless with my 15PM next month, to make my 15PM feel brand new along with iOS 18. I’m using this glass back protector, and this bumper case whenever I’m leaving the house. I used this combo before but went back to using cases because I can’t stick with a case more than a week or two at a time.
