How can I make sure that I will be the world's first person to recieve the new device from Apple? These people that are first, always gain some kind of media coverage. The first iPad went to Greg Packer, some guy in New York. The 2nd, Anthony Camanelli. The products are most always released to the USA first, with last release, the 4S, Apple decided to ship to Germany first, so do I need to buy plane tickets or what?
Hire some asian scalpers, it would be a lot cheaper! First asian scalper reference pertaining to the iPad 3! Woot!
i always get on twitter of the local store who has like 100 followers, with a pic because im always the first in line. Its not something to special in this country though. And im on one side happy about that, else i had to camp in front of the door
Easy: Have your camping gear ready before the announcement on Wednesday. Upon learning which countries will be included in the launch, immediately travel to the largest Apple store in the earliest timezone included in the first day availability. Proceed to camp out in front of said store until you buy your ipad3. While you'll receive media recognition, I'm not so sure the public perception will be particularly positive.
Three weeks ago the OP was moaning about how restrictive and silly the iPad and iOS were, and that he was waiting for the Windows 8 tablets to get here so he could have the 'latest and greatest'. He even said he bought and returned an iPad 2. Now he wants to fly around the world to be the first to get the iPad 3, sight unseen. Don't mods ban this kind of blabbery nonsense? i am an employee at the manhattan store. if you send me a sufficient amount of cash, i will make sure you are at the front of the line, and i can contact a friend i know at the new york times so that we can get your picture in the paper. we can make this happen. pm me and we can arrange a bank transfer. hurry, though, because there is a nigerian prince who has already contacted me with a great offer.
