I’m so upset. I work with people, so I don’t have the luxury of having another tab open and watch the stream on the side while working.. my only option is through the iPhone or bringing my iPad with me.. but it depends if I’m doing tasks at work during the period of apple revealing the iPhone and possible iPad Pro... and also which co-worker I’m assigned with. I hope I can manage it, because I don’t like having everything revealed through the press and blog reposts. To me, there’s nothing like watching it live with the rest of the world. It’s such an experience

What’s everyone’s else’s plans or strategies to watch the live stream while working? Are some of you gonna watch together with your co-workers? And those who don’t work on a computer what will you do?

I typically don't like watching the event and I'll just plan on just reading through the blog after work. But I will have my incognito window open and just be on the macrumors front page so I can just alt + tab and just quickly glimpse at it. Personally, I just find it boring to watch the event. But that's me.

I'll be at work during the live stream. Luckily I'm at a computer all day so I'll have the luxury to have it pulled up. Maybe you'll be able to watch it on your phone. I prefer to watch it live instead of reading posts about it later.

I’m flying all day in small airplanes instructing so there’s no way I’d be able to stream it live. Good thing I don’t have any students during the afternoon tomorrow!

I’ll be working all day tomorrow but will check in here in between to get the latest info. I’m pretty excited just like in previous years.

As long as I’m not too tied up with an investigation, I plan to stream from my work iPhone, and fortunately, as the Electrical Engineer, it actually is my job to keep up with technology to see how the changes affect our products and to determine quality impact.

Yep, I'll be working after-hours (~0000-0500), so the 0300 start should be when I'm finishing up. Work I do involves a lot of waiting of remote programming/decommissioning of equipment (for fibre to the premises gear), so I'll be able to tune in at least for a little.

Plus, I'll be getting updates via Twitter via Apple directly.

Nice reasoning. Mind if I use it too, seeing as I'm a telecomms technician?

What difference does it make? Replays will be on Apple.com for the next few days. And at best, any preorder dates will be at least a week away. PLENTY of time to decide in you want to preorder.

I don’t mind at all.

I will be traveling from one site to the airport so driving for at least the first hour of it. Will have to settle for listening I guess.

Honestly how much does lte effect aeronautical equipment?

I will check MR the next day or so and see what's up
Have never watched a Keynote and don't plan to start now

Will pick up a new phone on IUP probably in November

I find the event to be long, drawn out and boring... I rather see the recap after and see the products nice and summarized online or twitter.

Bummed out, I will be working during the keynote but I was expecting the day to be slow enough for me to sit and watch the keynote live... might not be able to because I have an urgent matter I need to look into tomorrow that came up today, don't know how long it will take :(

Preorder date is the 14th, 2 days after keynote. That's the way it has been for years.
OK, if it's the 14th, AND the roadshow in at 10AM (PDT), who cares if you catch the roadshow live or sometime during the rest of the day OR on the 13th, the road show is just not a MUST.

It’s never worked out for me: can’t watch it through the work internet, and cellular is so slow that the stream through the phone or iPad hangs and craps out a lot. I just follow the macrumors live commentary.
