iPhone 16 Pro Who’s holding on to their 16 Pro/Pro Max

ohhhh I loooooved my pink 13 mini, but 2 major hinges for me were my eye sight diminishing (even with reading glasses) and storage overall. I need 1tb just for what I keep on my phone. Otherwise I would’ve stuck with it…a battery over time can be replaced.

I still use my Green 256GB 13 mini, now as a backup iPhone, for monitoring my home security cameras and occasional use when I want to use the small form factor. With iOS 27, my mini feels like a new iPhone and has been fun to use. Yes there is some lagging but with the new iOS has been minimized considerably compared to iOS 26, which for me, was a disaster.

I’m not that wow’d about Duo and I have a hard time figuring out how to assimilate it into my everyday life based on my use case

18 Pro Max’s battery life seems amazing but it’s not enough for me to give up my 16 Pro Max. I really love this phone and and the weight of the Titanium frame for which in my opinion feels more premium then the 17 Pro and maybe even the 18

I’m actually waiting on an AppleCare replacement from China because I cracked my phone pretty bad dropping it on some machinery

Might be worth it to hold on for another year and see if a 2nd gen Air, 2nd gen Duo or 20th anniversary iPhone might have something more worthy of upgrading for.
