As of now I have the 4 and decided to keep as a backup once I get the 4S, instead of just selling it. If my 4S gets stolen, missing, or completely damaged...... I could easily go back to the 4 and sync everything with iTunes and/or iCloud.

I've already ran into temporary moments without an iPhone to fall back on and using a dumb phone or buying a cheap old Android phone sucks. I need a backup that's more than just contacts and calendar. Being that iCloud saves texts, etc: is another huge factor. IMO, a backup that's basically a clone is worth not selling whether or not it's for temporary use. And especially when things happen at this worst possible times.

I've thought about it. Haven't fully decided yet.
