I first ordered at Apple online 3am then ordered again at 10 am with T Mobile to get the jump on demand, so I cancelled Apple order then T Mobile is having issues so I head back to Apple and low and behold pick up in store option is available which wasn't there 3oclock this morning . Woohoo! No waiting for some UPS driver who will lie and say he tried to deliver but no one was home. After work Friday one quick subway ride and go into Apple Store and walk out with shiny new toy, I really like this option, well done Apple.

I wouldn't mention it if it weren't in the title, but it's "who's" not "whose." Sorry.

EDIT: Thank you. Congrats on the new phone.

I preordered a 6s+ through the :apple:upgrade program at 9 am this morning and got a 1pm reservation on 9/25 so this will be my first store pickup launch experience. We'll see how this goes ;)

I also placed a reservation for a 6+ through the Apple upgrade program for a 10 am but will be purchasing it outright and walk out the store~

Not me. My local store pick up last year was horrible. Since the Apple Store was in the mall the mall controlled everything,I was number 2 in line outside the mall (did not preorder) when the mall opened instead of having everyone file in single file or give out tickets everyone just ran into line at the Apple Store. My number 2 became number 15. This year won't be bad since they did the registration process but I still have a bitter taste in my mouth from that.

I managed to secure a SG 6s Plus, 128 GB for 8:30 AM on the 25th. Also have one being delivered in the 2-3 week category. Will probably just cancel the reservation and wait for delivery.

I will be at my local Apple Store first thing. I set my preorder for right when they open. This should be interesting lol

I reserved a 64GB Space Gray 6s to be picked up at the Apple Store on the 25th, but I did it under duress. There seemed to be no other way from Apple to get a Verizon 6s without having a Verizon account or setting up a new Verizon account. I need a Verizon phone because our prepaid MVNO carrier uses Verizon towers.

I guess the major carriers except for T-Mobile refuse letting Apple to sell the carriers' iphones online unless the customer has an account with the particular carrier.

15th is horrible? Good lord.

Picked up in store last year, had to wait a good half an hour to check out. Reserved for upgrade program this year, I suppose the crowd will be even worse.
