I have an SE and a 6.
!’m keeping the SE and the 6 and not buying the 7 this year.
The size of the SE suits my lifestyle and I’m very happy with it

Are you keeping your SE or selling it to get the 7 ?

I'd dump the SE if it had any trade in value towards the Apple Upgrade program... not sure I want to wade through Craigslist, online stuff.....

I gotta say anybody dumping their SE for 7 now I hope there is a legitimate complaint, like "screen really sux" or "home key not as responsible as I thought" and not because barely 6 months after, you are salivating for the newest just because you want to be (again) the new King on the block.

Just bought an SE. Money had nothing to do with the decision. Don't care for the size of my wife's 6S which I've used plenty of times.

I went from 6S(~9 months) to a 6S Plus(2 months) to a SE (since last 3 weeks). My 7 delivered today but I am thinking of taking it back to the store. I have fallen in love with the SE. It gives me 10-11 hours of usage wit 33-35hours of standby every single charge. It's amazing how fast, light and handy it is and that battery life is amazing.

Right now I leaning 65% towards the SE .

I have SE, excellent phone. I couldn't afford iPhone 7 and I decide SE before 6s, again 150$ cheaper.
It's even better when you look him as Steve Jobs legacy and design.
Nicest cell phone, ever, iPhone 5s/SE Space Grey.
But can't be compare with iPhone 7 Matte 256 GB.

I bought an iPhone 7 and I haven't sold my iPhone SE yet, but I'm going to. To be honest, the only reasons for my purchases lately are appearance. I never liked the iPhone 6's design, so I kept my iPhone 5s until the iPhone SE came out. The iPhone 7 is roughly the same shape as the iPhone 6, but the jet black hides the antenna lines so well and looks so much nicer.

I still like the iPhone SE, but I'm kind of tired of the same design I've been using for 3 years now. The processor on the 7 is faster, but I don't really notice it with normal usage. The camera is better but it's not really noticeable most of the time. The screen is better but it's not night and day.

I would have been very happy keeping my iPhone SE if I didn't have the extra money to blow, or if I just found the iPhone 7 as ugly as the iPhone 6.

The SE is a great phone but there is a lot of differences between it and the 7. The 7 is just superior in every facet possible except for screen size which is a subjective feature.

Well yeah. SE is 6s in a 5 body.

7 is the next generation that succeeds 6s

no way, probably when the 8 or wtv comes out next. yesterday I got 10h of usage on my SE. (I use FB trough safari, not the app)

I have both the 7 and the SE. Quite honestly, I prefer the overall form factor of the SE than the 7. I know the screen is better on the 7 compared to the SE, but I'm not consuming video or playing video games on my SE.

I was quite shocked to see that Apple will only give SE owners up to $160 for the device if they trade it in.

I have a 7+ and SE. I use the SE for when I go out to baseball games or evening events that I really don't need to carry the bigger device for. The SE is a fantastic device and honestly in my opinion the best device Apple has released since Steve Jobs passed away. Their slogan use to be.. it just works.. well with the SE.. it certainly does. Can't say the same for a lot of their other devices lately.

I hated any iPhone before the 6 including the "se" because I hate the button on top. I like it much better on the side. Just my opinion tho

I sold my SE and my iPad for the 7+. Ideally I would have liked to have kept the SE and the 7+ and switch between the 2. Perhaps I'll buy the next SE if Apple decide to update it come Spring. The SE is a brilliant phone but I just wanted a bigger screen. I love the size of the +.

The SE is a great phone but there is a lot of differences between it and the 7. The 7 is just superior in every facet possible except for screen size which is a subjective feature.

iPhone SE advantages over iPhone 7 series:
Screen size (subjective opinion)
Built-in headphone socket (objectively true)
Cheaper (objectively true)
Flush camera, no bulge (objectively true)
Total size and lower weight make it more mobile, fits in smaller pockets (objectively true)
Nicer form factor (subjective opinion)
Round volume buttons, top position for power button (subjective opinion)

iPhone 7 series advantages over iPhone SE:
Screen Size (subjective opinion)*
Better display (objectively true)*
Faster Touch ID (objectively true)*
Force Touch (objectively true)*
Better cameras (objectively true)
Jet and matte black colour and finish -options- (objectively true)
Has barometer functionality (objectively true)*
Higher storage capacity options (objectively true)
Nicer form factor (subjective opinion)*
Flatter, longer volume buttons, side position for power button (subjective opinion)*

So yes, there are some big differences, but I don't think it's true to say the 7 is superior in 'every facet possible except screen size'. I asterisked the features in the 7 I don't care about enough to matter to me personally, which leaves the camera (a better camera is always better) and black options (nice but I put my SE in black case so that was borderline for the asterisk...!), and the only thing I really really wish for is that the 7-series iPhones have higher storage options.

Overall I don't regret my SE purchase at all, and I honestly wouldn't swap it for a fully loaded iPhone 7 Plus (other than to sell it and buy another SE and pocket the change, to be realistic!).

Have the SE. I actually bought the 7 right when it came out, and returned it to keep the SE. I just enjoy the small phone factor so much more. Also the battery on the SE blows the 7 out of the water.

Yeah, the SE battery life is just crazytown... and somehow, it seems to have gotten even better w/iOS10. It is very rare that I'm down to even 20% at bedtime these days (and I use my phone pretty heavily). The phone just sips battery, except maybe during heavy navigation.

My last iPhone was a 4s a few years ago. Been using an LgG3 for a couple years and now using an iPhone SE. Very content with the SE. The battery life alone is worth it to me.

The SE is by far the best phone in my opinion! small size with 6s specs, built-in headphone socket and amazing battery life - all what i need! :)

I'm shocked at how many people actually care about the antenna lines on the back of the phone. Why? You don't spend a lot of time staring at the back of your phone, do you?

For me iPhone 6 is not ugly at all and I would not complain because antenna.
I can't see why people complain about that so much. OK iPhone 7 is nicer, but 6 is nice as well, very similar.
