I requested the day off from work, going to the Tampa Bay Storm game tonight. Somehow the iPad launch is on the same day 😀

iPad plus basketball, couldn't resist.

i have to go to work at 5pm, no iPad yet though (1pm) i hope i have time to use it before i have to go.

I took the day off, but had a half-day planned anyway to watch the NCAA Wrestling Championships on ESPN. So it worked out as a convenient bonus that my new iPad would arrive today.

I managed to get a last minute day off when I realised no one would be home for it.

Very lucky since I usually have to give a weeks notice D:.

At this rate though he will probably come at 6pm when I would have been home anyway - -.

It's my last day of finals today for my quarter at college. I finish around 3 PM, then a 4 hour drive home where my iPad awaits.

I work from home, so while I am not technically skipping work, when FedEx gets here the rest of my day will be spent playing with my new toy.

My professor cancelled our Friday class, so now I'm wide open 🙂 what a nice little surprise/coincidence lol

Although after a few hours of playing with the iPad, I'll be doing school work that I have to catch up on.

I'm at work, but I'm having my iPad shipped to the office. So...😎

Same here. I couldn't be sure my boyfried would be home to sign or that the fedex guy wouldn't pull one of those sneak attacks where they propel down in a ninja suit and stealthily stick that 1st attempt sign on your door while you're sitting right in the living room. I'm pretty sure my ipad will get around 10a EST and I can't wait!!! I might start to feel sick around noon 😉

I took off for another reason today but it's a great by-product of having the day. Now all I am doing is staring out the Window waiting for the FEDEX guy.
