Do you think will really get what was promised back in WWDC 2024? Or maybe Apple is just waiting for us all to forget? I am skeptical that what they demoed is actually even technically feasible. But if they pull it off and it works as well as the demo, that will be a really huge deal, I think greatly increasing the utility of our phones. Siri has stunk for far too long. What do you all think, will Apple pull it off and will it be a huge deal? Or will they continue to delay and maybe never even really pull it off?

It's way too late for it to be a big deal, it'll come but when we don't know.

I enabled chatgpt without Siri asking for my permission each time it works for what I need it for. Frankly Apple just needs chstgpt and call it a daycare. Call it Daave.

Siri name is toxic and a joke at this point and there rumors Apple will ditch the name. As they should. It’s been a joke for 15 year.

I occasionally use Siri to set a reminder, just for the sake of doing so, but I've never found a use for it. So, personally, I don't care how long Apple takes to improve Siri. Having said that, my expectation is that we will start seeing improvements in the next 12 months, with things improving further after that.

Edit for clarity: I don't talk to any other chatbots either. I have no use cases where telling my phone to do things is better than doing them myself.
