Was on Giffgaff's £12 SIM-only 250 minute, unlimited texts and data plan (with tethering) on a 4S.
This month switched to Three's £15 plan, also SIM-only, with 200 minutes (I barely break 15 in a month), unlimited texts and data (4 GB tethering limit) – mainly as I expect to buy the new iPhone in September and I'll be moving to an area with LTE coverage.

Both were rolling 30-day contracts.

Yeah probably should've included the US carriers as well so most answers don't end up "Other".

I'm on an old O2 tariff.

600 mins
1000 texts
Unlimited 3G data

£21.63

I don't get anywhere near the calls and texts limit, so my main concern is data.

I've been looking for a 4G sim only deal by testing out the various networks on a PAYG basis, but I really am struggling.

-Three is by far the cheapest, but the coverage is patchy to say the least
-EE has the best coverage by far, but their customer service even in the 2 weeks I was dealing with them was catastrophically bad

Which leaves me either staying as I am without 4G or changing to a different O2 contract with restricted data.

The equivalent tariffs give about 2-3Mb which feels a bit restrictive. I could go for 6Mb for £25/mnth, but I'm not convinced that I need 4G that much, especially seeing as O2's 4G coverage isn't great either (TBH their 3G isn't brilliant)

Bloody love this network and the way its run. It has o2's quality without the expense.
