If it ends up being a matt texture, I will for sure switch from white to black. White matte is terrible as it would collect dirt like no other.

, my white MacBook is like that right now!!!! You should see the palm rests! I will be going black unless I am sure the white will be hard to stain.I'm at a loss. I was always stuck on getting the black (which I have) but I had a friend come to town with the white and it's pretty slick!
I guess I'll want to see the backs, I'm not to sure I'm gonna like the matte. I like the back of the original iphone. If the new back is matte like the ipod classics I won't like it.
But I do admit, I hate the slick back of the 3G because it scratches way too easily for such an expensive phone!

I was planning to get another white one but I hadn't actually considered that. I would hope Apple would release it with some sort of coating so it doesn't stain or go manky.
I shall wait and see what is announced, but I'd like another white one. I also want a white PSPgo 'cos that looks nice and crisp too.
If the next iPhone has a matte finish on the back, I'll get black. I have re white iPhone right now.
Unrelated, I had a dream last night where I got the new iPhone and it was basically a full sized iPhone, but there was a smaller sized iPhone inside it that you could detach. The larger part was just for the camera and larger battery. I thought it was really cool in the dream, but when I awoke I realized that it didn't make much sense.
