I have a question:

My father would like to keep the files on his work computer, home computers, and everything in between in sync (instead of carrying around a WD Passport). I suggested either MobileMe because of iDisk and the other synced apps, or Windows Home Server, so he can access the files from the web interface. Which one do you think is more appropriate? Or is there a better alternative?

BTW, he is a Windows guy, and I offered MobileMe since it allows for syncing on PCs.

If it's just certain documents that he has to keep in sync mobile me will do fine. Someone should come up with a better syncing system where all the files in certain folders are always the same. This would be especially useful for iTunes libraries across many computers.
