Hi there,

I am using an iPhone 8 Plus which was originally mine. I then let my brother use it and now it’s back with me. His Apple ID is no longer associated with it (i.e. I have deleted the phone from his device list).

However, when I try and download my music (which was previously on the iPhone 8 Plus and is linked to my Apple ID) I get the message shown in the screenshot.

Will tapping transfer cause me any problems?

I obviously want my music, with my Apple ID on my phone and not have to worry about it getting messed up (e.g. my devices thinking the music belongs to two separate Apple ID’s in the future etc).

As long as you are signed in with your own apple ID it is fine to select transfer. It is likely doing this because your brother's ID was previously attached to it.
