Back in December, my one month old iPhone 13 would sometimes send calls straight to voicemail, no ring at all. Apple replaced the “rear system” and all seemed good, again.

Well, now three months later, I’m having the same issue. Will Apple replace the phone this time for the same issue?

There’s no missed call notice, either. My recent history shows it as a call I answered….picked up by another device….but my only other device is my iPad that is at home.

It’s really stressful because I heavily depend on my phone during the day for work and I’m missing important calls.

That happens to me sometimes. I have blamed it on my carrier (Sprint/T-mobile). I assumed there was too much traffic on a particular tower so everything was sent straight to voicemail. When traffic slowed down or I got to a less busy tower I got a missed call notice. Unfortunately, it was not an active notice and I wouldn’t know until I actually looked at my phone.

This happened to me last year with at&t. They automatically installed their “Active Armor” (or something like that), even though I have automatic install turned off. All calls from my boss and several other contacts would never ring and I would never get a missed call notification. I made sure they were not accidentally blocked, etc. I called at&t to check my phone, and it turned out that their stupid app was blocking a lot of my calls. She removed it and did some kind of adjustment in the background. Haven’t had the problem since.

I just switched to T-Mobile last week. Hopefully I won’t experience that kind of issue with them.

Check your focus setting if you have any. Certain focus setting blocks calls very aggressively.
