Why are GPUs installed upside down?? Or why is the label upside down??

Because the logic board is basically turned around. If you notice the door is on the right instead of left like a typical PC.

This is also why the PCIe slots are on the top.

I always felt Mac Pros' orientation is correct because heat rises and I've always felt that the heatsink should be on top.

And for all they charge for Mac Versions neither NVIDIA nor AMD have molded Mac Pro specific covers with the lettering "right side up". That probably illustrates just how low the production levels are for Mac specific GPUs.

I am really glad that NVIDIA made Mac Pro versions at all.

I always liked the Mac orientation since my early Lian Li days. It's aesthetically pleasing to see the gfx card facing up than down with the pcb board exposed.

Why what's the point? I leave my side panel on. I never see it anyways.
