(why) are "i5", "i7", for example, invalid search terms?

as far as i can tell, you can't search the MBA forum for "i5", for example.

am i crazy?

isn't this something worth fixing?

too short a search term and skynet filters it out

"i5 i5 i5 i5 i5 i5 i5 i5" gives no results.

"the" gives results.

it seems like two letter/number terms are ignored, which seems a bit ineffective considering.
