I'm not too sure are the later version has same behaviour. Mine is Marverick recently upgraded from SL. I have already config all downloads should go to "Download" folder. But I can't command same thing under Mail.

Previously in SL, when I click download, all attachment auto goes to download without further verification.

Now Marverick Mail has an additional verification asking where to download after clicking download. This is very annoying. Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

Many here remember SL with much fondness for various reasons and you've just added another.

I do have a Mavericks machine but I'm not on it...does "Save to Downloads folder" not appear when you right-click an attachment as it does in El Capitan?

Open safari, select the word safari next to the apple logo at the top, select preferences, and set where it downloads to under the general tab.

Already done that
[doublepost=1453522799][/doublepost]This the sequence they ask you.

First you click the paper clip. That act itself shld actually download to "download"

But it pops up another window asking where to download.

Sigh. Annoying.

You guys using Maverick Mail face the same issue?
