You can sell the 4S when the 5 comes out and probably only spend $100-200 out of pocket. If you can't afford that, you probably shouldn't have an iPhone.

For sure, only problem is then those same people can be seen holding up decent working people chanting 99 vs. 1 and it's everyone else's fault they can't pay their bills.

Example of a failure to understand the message of OWS... I love how people act like they're so responsible with money, yet vote against their own financial self interests.

how fast is fast enough on mobile anyway?

While your speed on AT&T HSPA+ network is on the high end of speeds. it is still below what most people who are on Verizon LTE network are getting.

Verizon has what I would call a 4G network. AT&T just starting to role theirs out (LTE)

But like you even pointed out it is around here. You have a rare very fast AT&T connections and apparently slow Verizon LTE. One big thing I have noticed about LTE is that the ping times are broadband level (50 or lower) compared to the HSPA+ that are normally around 100ms.

This is where my mind is. I have no need for bandwidth greater than the 3+Mbps that I'm getting for web browsing, gaming and even video conferencing. Isn't it the latency that is going to annoy you more at these data speeds for the aforementioned uses? What is HSPA+'s potential with improved pings?

Cause I won't , I will update my iPhone next year anyways , and until 4g shows me some great battery life in not getting a 4g device again
