Resolved Why Can't I Adjust Brightness on my Neo?

I want to be able to set my own screen brightness on my MBN, but the machine resets itself within minutes of me changing the setting. Check out the photo: I have "Automatically Adjust Brightness" set to off, and the brightness slider is set to 50%. If I move the brightness slider up a bit to make the screen brighter, within the next 5 minutes or so the computer resets itself to 50%. What am I missing?

It works fine on my MBN but my Colour Profile is set to 'Colour LCD'. My understanding is that the Neo does not support P3 completely. Have you tried changing the Colour Profile to the default setting to see if this works?

Well, it ended up that changing the color profile did not work. However, I accidentally stumbled upon the solution - The "Slightly dim the display on battery" switch was set to on in the Battery section of Settings. here's a screenshot:

I switched it off and the problem seems to be solved.

@ElPaso as you can see from the screenshot below, I have dim display on battery on and I am still able to adjust the screen brightness on my Neo!
