Hi

Before I upgraded to Snow Leopard I could highlight an image on the internet and just drag it into iPhoto.

Since the upgrade to Snow Leopard I can't do this anymore.:(

Does anyone know why this is the case and is there a way I can fix this or is there another way that I can save images from the internet?

Alex

I'm not sure what the difference might be, but try this alternate method:

Right-click on the image and select "Add Image to iPhoto Library".

Hi

I have a macbook is there a way of right clicking?

You can use the control+click, or enable two-finger secondary tap in System Preferences > Trackpad; under "Two Fingers", check "Secondary Tap"

I use the latter - it's second nature, and very natural to use.

Hi

OK I have tried this but I don't get an option to "Add Image to iPhoto Library".

I get Copy Image (but I don't know where it goes when I do this, not to iphoto anyway) also save image as but I don't know where to go from there as iPhoto does not show in the list.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong??

By the way thanks for all the help so far.

You can save the image (via the "right click") to the desktop and drag it into iPhoto and it will then be imported into your Library.

When you do "copy image" it puts it on your clipboard, where you can then paste it into an image editor, for instance. I don't think that's what you're after exactly though. Just save the image as above and drag into iPhoto. Viola!

The image on the web page needs to be highlighted. Then you should get the option.

Yet another option (mentioned above) is to put the image on the desktop, then import it from there. You should be able to just drag the image from the web page to the desktop. From there, you can import normally into iPhoto.

Hi

That works many thanks.:)

Not as easy as the old way but better than nothing.

For the past few weeks I have being going to Safari on my iPhone, copy the image and then importing the image from it to my macbook.
