iPhone 12 mini Why can't I get rid of it?

iPhone 12 mini running 26.5.

Since yesterday, this red spot has appeared on my phone logo. I have completely emptied all my calls but it won't go away.

How can I get rid of it please?? Even when I press and get all the Apps dancing with a (-) it won't go, it just goes to the App Library!!

That's what I thought but I went right through all the calls in the list and found nothing so I deleted them all but still the red dot stays there! I tried to delete the App to re install it but it won't delete, just moves to Library!

Call yourself and leave a voice message and then delete the message and it should go away.

All sorted (thanks to wife). There was an historic voice mail blocked back in 2024 lurking in the background. Got rid of that and all clear!
