Why can't I restore to 8.4?

im running the latest ios9 beta. I want 8.4. Keep getting error in iTunes.

It will. I've restored using a .ipsw and by clicking alt + restore countless times for years. Doesn't seem to work for a handful of people and I'm not sure why exactly, but personally I've done it on several devices many, many times since iOS 4.

For me it always worked by going in recovery mode.
