Nearly burned my sausages !

never asked my Mac to time something before as always have my watch or phone to hand and I’ve got a google home as well.

today stuck sausages in the oven. Clicked on Siri on my Mac and said set a timer for 30 mins. Siri cheerily told me it was set.

after an unknown time around 30 mins ish I clicked on Siri and said how Long is left of the timer and Siri said she didn’t know how to answer that.

long story short. Asking her to set a timer just sets an all day reminder called timer rather than timing my sausages !

Hm. It's bad that it answered that it had set the timer; The intended behaviour is that it tells you it cannot do so on this device, and at least with some phrasings of the request it will do that. - But of course there should be more feature parity between the different Siri devices
