iPhone Why can't the weather app find the cities I want?

Im trying to add Queenstown and Dunedin, NZ into my weather list but i cant even find them. Used to be able to. Any ideas why?

apple uses yahoo weather but it's just a boring, almost pointless app

weather channel has everything you can possibly want for weather

But as I recall Yahoo! weather basically uses The Weather Channel for their data. As for what the app offers and how it looks, yes, that's somewhat different (although personally the simplicity of some is just right for some people as that's the information they need and it's made pretty clear without much else when they use the app).

Sure, that makes sense. Probably doesn't help much with the issue the OP is having though. Although if they are happy to switch weather apps then perhaps it can help work around that issue (by basically avoiding it), assuming it all works fine with the app they switch to.
