Why can't we delete the default iDisk folders?

Such as 'Software,' 'Sites' and others. I don't want them, why does Apple force them to exist?
 
Most of those folders are used by OS X, MobileMe or iLife. You can choose not to see them on the actual web app and iPhone app.
