It's unlikely that Win8 will be able to run OSx in a virtual machine - it's against Apple's EULA, and Apple could file a lawsuit. Microsoft plays it clean most of the time.

I'm sure it won't have official support if Apple don't allow it (which I'm also sure they won't). What I meant was that I don't know whether it'll be capable of supporting running OS X, not whether it would be supported. You can run OS X now under VMware WS7 on a Windows PC, it's easy enough to do, but it's in breach of the Apple license. I doubt you can run OS X in Windows XP mode on Windows 7 and I don't know whether that will change with the virtualisation technology proposed for Windows 8, I doubt it.
 
Have just read that the Windows 8 virtualisation platform will be HyperV, which means it's likely that someone will be able to get OS X working on it. It'll still be in breach of the license agreement of course, but I suspect people will be able to make it work.
