Why choose a Mac?

Developing, especially for the web, just works so much nicer on MacOS than on Windows.

As for why I started using MacOS, I loved the way it was designed, both in appearance and how it behaved UX-wise. Incredibly classy system. Plus hardware that was sculpted as a work of art.

I prefer MS Office and there is currently no hope of running it on the new macs.

They are optimised and run very well, alongside other Microsoft apps e.g. Visual Studio Code, Teams and OneDrive.
