I heard somebody ask this. If Android is so great and selling so much better than the iPhone Why even pick it up? I didn't get to hear the other guys response lol. But I figured I would share this and get your opinions.

Verizon was probably losing a lot of customers to AT&T/Apple. Sure, they do fine without iPhone, but now they do better. A fairly reliable carrier with unrestricted Androids (unlike AT&T) and the iPhone. They'll do great.

Well said. I'm not sure what kind of point the other guy was trying to prove but I think the iPhone 4 sold like 1.7 million units in the first three days of release I think. Why wouldn't Verizon wanna add it to thier list ya know?

Why not?

Good avenue to make money for Apple & Verizon. Just think like a businessman for a second.

That what I'm saying lol. Some of my friends that own iPhones wasn't to happy about Verizon getting the iPhone lol. I wanted to smack em.

That's pretty much it. It was the best selling phone in the month of February. Look at this https://www.macrumors.com/2011/04/0...sales-in-february-as-android-surge-continues/

Verizon is on point. Already has LTE, good service, powerful Androids which aren't restricted, and the iPhone.

Just for the money.

As a carrier, the more phones you offer the more clients you get. Think why carriers offer different brands of phones instead of a single brand.

Because 11 million people have bought one so far.
I also heard that so far Apple has sold 100 million iPhones. That's crazy since it's pretty much only been on one carrier until a few months ago. I switched over from Sprint to AT&T just for the iPhone. Yes I left my Android phone behind lol.
