just curious to know what made you decide on the 6s over the 6s plus ? just wanted to know I have a 6s and I love my phone!

OK, well it's pretty much the exact same phone, except for three differences:

Size
Battery life
Camera

I'd say most would make a choice based on one or a combination of those three things.

Personally, I went with the 6s, as I prefer smaller phones. If they come out with another 4" phone I will get it. For me that is the perfect size.

For me, size

Plus models (and any "phablet" devices for that matter) are just too large for me to comfortably use them like a phone, slightly too awkward to hold up to my ear, and too big to comfortably fit in vast majority of my trouser/jean pockets.

Its too damn big and feels unwieldy taking it out of my pocket. The 6 fits perfectly in my hand.

Last year I bought a 6 at launch and was very happy with it for the last year. I used it along with a Mini 2. However, after some exposure to the Plus, I grew to appreciate the larger screen size and even the improved resolution more and more. I also wanted to consolidate devices and sell my Mini. This spurred me to get the 6 Plus and I am really glad I did. I find it much more of an all in one device.

The 6S+ can be fine if you have some way of storing it as you go about your business. I'm a guy at university and it just doesn't fit comfortably into jeans/joggers pockets. As a phone, it is truly inconvenient. I find that the combo of the 6S with my rMBP works quite well, though I am getting an iPad Mini later this year to sorta fill the gap (and because it's given on my course/mandatory to use some apps).

Personally, I have quite small hands. I even find using the 4.7" 6S tricky at times, though I deal with that because I know I need the real estate provided by the screen when compared with my old 5.

I have an iPhone 6 (4.7"), an iPad Air 2 (9.7") and a rMBP" (15.4"). This way my devices are 5" to 6" apart and they accomodate my habits going from convenience/portability to productivity.

4.7" is the furthest I can go with single-handed usage while I'm on the public transport.

Couldn't have phrased it better myself. I'm almost exactly the same, although I have the 13" MBA. I definitely turn to each for specific uses.

The 6s+ had that freeze problem and I needed $ for my newer iMac, so 6s for me. While I wouldn't mind longer battery life and a bigger screen, I'm good.

If I keep the 6s on low power mode, I can eek another 4-8 hours of usage from it. I like it.

Honestly, size isn't that much of a problem. When I first got my 6S+ it was extremely awkward to use for the first few weeks. Now it's breeze, just like using the regular 6S. It just requires some time to get used to handle it properly.

PS. I've also noticed that I haven't dropped my 6S+ even once. In the other hand I can't even count how many times I dropped my 6 accidentally. Because the 6S+ is bigger, I'm simply more cautious while holding it.

6s because suits my lifestyle much better.

a 4.7 size with a smaller bezel would be the (.)(.)s

I went with the 6 and 6s because the plus models are simply ridiculous. The extra benefits as I've said before do not come close to making it even a consideration to me.

It's funny when someone makes a thread asking, specifically, why folks chose the 6S over the 6S Plus.....and 6S Plus users pop in stating or defending their choice of the plus.

I chose the 6s after returning two 6s pluses with the blemish issue. Seems to me to be an inherent manufacturing defect.. I'll go plus when the 7 is out! I guess!
Anyway I then went for the RG 6s and I'm pleasantly surprised with the colour scheme coming from a SG 6. The slight heft of the 6s is most welcome! I'm done until the 7 is out!

I chose the 6s because I previously tried out the Note 4 and it always stayed in my car because the size is/was a pain. I'll admit the large screen is awesome but at the end of the day I have an iPad for when I want a bigger screen. I want my phone to be easily portable when I'm out and about, and the 6s is perfect!

Went with 6 then 6s because of size, I love the idea of the + but its just to big for everyday practicality for me.

I want the 7 to have the same outside size of the 6/6s but with a 5" screen or keep the 4.7" screen and reduce the outside size. Basically I want Apple to reduce the damn bezel size ;)!
