Why different style boxes?

Just got my order of 2 AWs, both series 3, aluminum, LTE, 38mm. The silver one with sport band is in a long flat box, and the gold with sport loop is in a cube shaped box.

It doesn’t really matter but I️ can’t help wondering if it’s normal.

I was under the impression that only the sport models are in the rectangular box and the stainless/Ceramic/Hermes models are in the square box. But perhaps it's because of the Sport loop band.
