Is there a way to turn off the need to confirm that I like something every time I hit like?

Moreover, I'm curious as to what prompted the need for this separate confirmation page?

I'm assuming (but obviously, I could be wrong) that it was because MR had to deal with some serial likers (never knew there was such a thing?) and this was the tool used to prevent all of the likes? Seems to me that it would backfire by encouraging users to disengage (i.e. we like things but not enough to hit confirmation pages every single time)...

are you talking about liking from article pages?

there should be no confirmation when liking from forum threads if your browser is working as intended. JavaScript running, not blocking any resources.

I suppose it is from the article pages. I also suppose my question still applies.

I have never seen the confirmation page for "likes". Works as intended (I think). However, imo, a confirmation for "haha" and "down vote" should be displayed. To disturb the flow of the serial "haha-ers" and "downvoters". ;)

Oh yeah, my posts tend to attract a clientele that consistently reacts to my posts with either angry/ disagree or laughing reactions. The ones I am talking about, they have never reacted to my posts or most else for that matter with anything else.
