They are hand sewn in France. All you are buying is an extra watch face. All the hermes bands are on ebay for pennies. Most likely made in the same chinese factory that hermes gets them made at.

For $211 you get an orange sport band, the second year of warranty, and the watch faces. It is cheaper to just get the bands if you don’t care about the watch faces. That said, the bands are nice, and the colored bands are more durable than the fauve barenia since they are made with treated leather.I never heard of Hermès until the AW came along. I don't even think I'm a target for their marketing as I am male. I know all leather bands, last only 2 years maybe 3, if you wear them everyday, because they start to smell. I doubt even their high quality leather bands can avoid being smelly after 3 years of everyday wear. Their marketing is so good I don't even know how they got to me. The Hermès faces are nice, they give it an almost analog look like you're wearing a real mechanical watch. But the Apple face that came with AW3, I think it's called the Explorer, the one with green dots indicating cellular strength is a good looking analog face. What did Hermès do to me with their subliminal marketing??
