Is it just me or does the bezel on the iPhone 12 looks thicker than it did on iPhone 11 Pro?

Is it the flat screen and lack of rounded edges giving the bezel a larger look?

I think it is mostly when you see it at an angle and the curve distorts the bezel on the 11. I just checked some side by side pictures and when viewed straight on they both appear very similar.

Because dark steel band + black bezels = you get what looks like one big bezel.

It has always been like that since the iPhone X.

Look at pictures of the iPhone 12 with the lively colors. There is clear separation of the aluminum band and the bezels and you can see the bezels are smaller.
Same with the silver stainless steel.

I have to say im so disappointed. The iPhone 12 looks so ugly. Why? I just don’t know why they can’t make the bezels smaller .

I switched from the dark X to ocean blue and the bezels are much more noticeable than they are on the X.
It's definitely mostly because of the rounded glass that made it look smaller.

What in the world? They did make the bezels smaller. I have both phones.

The bezels on the iPhone 12 Pro are smaller than the bezels on the iPhone 11 Pro. Here’s a side-by-side picture of my 11 Pro and 12 Pro. The bezels, particularly the sides don’t just appear to be smaller, they literally measure smaller too. iPhone 11 Pro on the left, 12 Pro on the right. The iPhone 11 Pro side bezel measures 4/10 cm; the 12 Pro bezel measures 3/10 cm.
