Why so many people use Evernotes or Microsoft Onenote? If some thing happen to the app you can lose every thing. As there is no way backing every thing up and saving it on a external hard drive or desktop computer.

If in two or three years they stop support for Evernotes or Microsoft Onenote you can lose every thing as there is no way backing it up.

Also if the internet goes down you have no way accessing your work.

Cloud backup / sync, you won’t lose anything. Not many people use Evernote anymore since they started charging/upping their fee for service

Yes but how do you back it up on a external hard drive or desktop computer.

It's a lazy way of storing information.

Evernotes or Microsoft Onenote suffer from the same thing like Notability and GoodNotes no feature or ability to back it up on a external hard drive or desktop computer.

You are better off using (name your scanning app) with (name your cloud storage). If one or the other goes away you can always move your files.

Phone to PC sync.

I can type in Evernote on my computer web browser at my desk... and get those same notes on my phone. And vice-versa.

That's really all I use it for. I don't do photos, tagging, folders, etc.

It's like an advanced cloud-synced notepad. :)
