Zooming in and out, scale, Reader View... I don't care what method is used. I just want to be able to read on my iPad without a magnifying glass.

It sounds like you may have reached the age ( like i already have) where you need a reading correction for presbyopia, so you'll need either bifocals or progressive lenses.

Yes, I am of that age where many people need bifocals, but I've had vision problems long before now, and have worn reading glasses since I was in college. There's only so much glasses can do to correct my vision problems, though, so if we were still in the days of print, I'd be looking for large-print books.
